Who We Are
FMF 04 – Fédération des Motards de France des Alpes-de-Haute-Provence is a nonprofit association dedicated to organizing, developing, and overseeing the practice of motorcycling in all its forms within our territory. As the departmental branch operating in coordination with the Fédération des Motards de France (FMF), we serve as a structured, responsible, and passionate hub for riders, clubs, and enthusiasts across the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence region.
Our association unites individuals and organizations involved in motorcycles, mopeds, scooters, quads, and more broadly, all motor-powered two-, three-, and four-wheeled vehicles equipped with handlebars. We operate at the intersection of sport, tourism, community engagement, and public safety, ensuring that motorcycling thrives in a structured, ethical, and sustainable environment.
We are more than a federation—we are a community committed to protecting the spirit of motorcycling while promoting safety, responsibility, and solidarity among riders.
Our Mission
Our mission is to organize, develop, regulate, and promote motorcycling in all its forms while defending the interests of riders, supporting affiliated clubs, and advancing road safety and responsible use of public spaces.
To achieve this mission, FMF 04:
Organizes and supervises motorcycling activities and events.
Coordinates and supports affiliated sports and touring clubs.
Promotes motorcycling as both a competitive sport and a recreational activity.
Defends the interests of motorcyclists at the local and regional level.
Conducts road safety awareness and prevention initiatives.
Ensures compliance with the decisions and directives of the Fédération des Motards de France.
Oversees departmental motorcycle committees within our territorial jurisdiction.
Encourages ethical, environmentally conscious, and community-minded riding practices.
Our mission is rooted in service: service to riders, to clubs, to public authorities, and to the wider community.

What We Do
Organizing and Regulating Motorcycling Activities
FMF 04 oversees and supports the organization of sporting events, competitions, rallies, and touring activities within our department. We help ensure that events are conducted safely, legally, and in compliance with national federation standards.
Our role includes:
Providing structural guidance to affiliated clubs.
Assisting with administrative procedures and compliance.
Ensuring adherence to safety regulations.

Supporting Clubs and Associations

We serve as a bridge between local clubs and the national federation, ensuring clear communication and aligned objectives.
Defending the Interests of Riders
